The Asia & America Electronics Show, also called AES, is sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT); the Electronic Information Industry Sub-council and the Guangzhou Dominant Information Technology Media Co., Ltd., and is held jointly by China Electronic Technology International Trade Co., Ltd. and the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association.

The AES is one of the largest international exhibitions, covering China and Asia's consumer electronics communication and information technology industry sector. This exhibition provides global electronics suppliers and buyers a great chance to connect while offering an ideal place to exhibit and trade.


The AES 2006, with gross exhibition space of 100,000 square meters, is divided into five sections:
1. The Consumer Electronics exhibition hall, covering communication and information technology products;
2. The Authentication Consulting area;
3. The Measurement and Examination area;
4. The International Import and Export Service area; and
5. The Online Business Presentation area.

Over 3500 exhibitor booths covering more than over 40 trading countries and regions such as China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, U.S.A., Canada, Germany, U.K., Belgium, Italy, Middle East, etc. will present their products and services at this years AES. The estimated percentage of foreign exhibitors attending this years AES lies at about 32 percent. Attracting thousands of domestic and international traders, promoting the ability to gain highly qualified access to 85% of the world's leading professionals in the Consumer Electronics Industry, the AES is becoming one of the most representative Consumer Electronics Fairs in Asia.
